Oh boy, now here’s a dramatic twist in the already convoluted Bigg Boss tale! Remember Sofia Hayat told me in our Twinterview that she had filed an FIR for physical abuse against Armaan Kohli? Well looks like the police are taking it super seriously and even made an appearance on Bigg Boss to seize the raw footage from that episode and arrest the accused.
Colors crew members confirm that around 11pm last night Armaan Kohli was taken into custody by the Lonavala police and is currently sitting SEETHING at the police station. OMG, just IMAGINE the TRPs (not to mention the TMTs – Tanisha Mukerji‘s Tears!)
Btw, I’d see the signs now sister, NOT boyfriend material! Besides Kajol and Ajay Devgn are probably going to double their efforts to keep you apart after this!
Kohli has been booked under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354 a (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code, police said.
Lost in translation: essentially he is saying that Sofia Hayat filed her complaint on the 12th of December, we checked the tapes of the show and after verifying those tapes arrested Armaan Kohli at 11:20pm.
SOFIA’S STATEMENT
“A 6 feet two inches man hit me on my face with a stick. I thought he will be evicted but he was not. He is a very violent and aggressive person. He should not be given a second chance to hit any other woman. I don’t want to teach him a lesson. I just want to do what is right,” she had said in a statement. I want Armaan to go to jail for at least a month. He should be punished. The world needs to know that India will not tolerate this behaviour, India stands behind its women.”
So I actually saw that episode. Did Arman Kohli use a dangerous weapon to assault Sofia? It was a wooden mop so I suppose you could make the case! Was he aggressive and insulting for no apparent reason? Roger that. So frankly, does Armaan Kohli deserve a smack upside the head? Most DEFINITELY. In fact if you ask me, a little reality check via the Indian police is probably JUST what the doctor ordered. Anger Management desi style!
FYI I believe Armaan has previously been booked for assaulting his ex girlfriend Moonmoon Banerjee in Mauritius?! WTF.
What I dying to see now? Salman Khan‘s DABANGG reaction to all of this! Because as the #UnfairSalman v/s #SalmanIsFair rages on he’ll have to chose his response like a bawse!
