Kareena Kapoor Khan usually spends Christmas in Mumbai with her mother, Babita, and sister, Karisma Kapoor. Since her mum is half-Christian, the two sisters often went to Church while they were growing up. Now, they continue the tradition by attending midnight mass on Christmas Eve every year, mostly at St Andrew’s Church. This time, though, our Industrywalla tells us that Kareena may be breaking that tradition to go to her royal sasural in Pataudi for Christmas. Saif is heading there, and therefore the actress is accompanying her husband on his trip, since she missed the last one.
Just a little while ago, Saif holidayed with some of his best mates from school, but Kareena skipped that trip. At that time, Bebo had celebrated her anniversary with her hubby in the UK (he was on sets of Humshakals), but later left so that she could return home to supervise the interior designing work being done on their house. Now, though, the couple is ready to take a holiday like they do every year.
Their trip to Pataudi is scheduled for December 24th, and after they spend Christmas there, they are expected to fly to Gstaad on December 26th. Gstaad is the location of their annual vacation, since Kareena fell in love with the place a long time ago and made Saif promise her that they would go there once a year to take some time off. The place they stay is an extremely romantic one, and it’s also one meant only for royalty. Since Saif is a Nawab, he and Kareena have access. In fact, even before they were married, the two used to register themselves as Mr and Mrs Khan.
