I’m sorry, but there’s no easy way to ask such a question: do you think Jaaved Jaaferi‘s breasts look real? This is his look for an upcoming film – Mr. Joe B Carvalho – where he plays, along with many other roles, the character of a woman. A Maharashtrian woman, to be precise. And word on the streets is that Mr Jaaferi here took it upon himself to arrange for his make up and prosthetics, since there was a delay in receiving the prosthetics they had ordered from Thailand. Apparently, one day before their shoot was supposed to start, the production team realised that they would not be receiving their shipment. According to our press note, Jaaved took it upon himself then to find the right make up artists to get the look he wanted. The note continues to say that to everyone’s surprise, the end result was “perfect.”
Remember when the actor told us he’s never been much of a besharam? Yup, time to take that back.
Anyway, if you were wondering how Jaaved had the expertise to ensure his prosthetics were made, this is what the actor had to say:
“Since I have played the role of a woman before in my earlier films, I had a fair idea about what goes into the makeup of a prosthetic. Then I did a detailed research on the net, and everyone on the sets was shocked at seeing the prosthetic that looked super real. It was quite hilarious. I like to go into the minute details of the look because when you see the film on the big screen it should look authentic!”
That’s… interesting, but I feel like the image has been photoshopped a bit around the choli area – the lines look uneven and blurred.
Still, the question stands: what do you think of Javed Jaaferi’s entire look? And if you do like it and can’t wait to see it on the big screen, Mr. Joe B Carvalho releases on January 3rd, 2014.
