Robert De Niro was in India recently to attend the THiNK fest in Goa, but also took some time out to pop into Mumbai to grace a small event hosted by Anupam Kher. Mr Kher had befriended De Niro when they worked together in Silver Linings Playbook, so the Bollywood actor invited him to his acting academy, Actor Prepares, for an intimate meet-and-greet. De Niro spoke both to the students of the academy, as well as several from the Bollywood fraternity, such as Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Dia Mirza and Ayan Mukerji, just to name a few. Since we couldn’t help wondering what the whole experience was like, MissMalini had a quick Twitter chat with Mr Kher to ask him all about the event – like what he asked De Niro, which movies he’d love to show him, and what advice his students got.
