Contemporary dance guru, Shiamak Davar, recently held a special showing of SELCOUTH in Mumbai. It was a visual spectacle comprising of indo-contemporary and modern movement with ballet techniques.
Shiamak had specially invited a number of his Bollywood friends to view the spectacle and among them were legendary dancers, Helen and Hema Malini. In fact, even actor Sushant Singh Rajput was in the audience and few know that Sushant was once Shiamak’s student.
Another person who was spotted in the audience was filmmaker Subhash Ghai. Davar has choreographed many songs for Ghai’s films, the most famous being for Taal, which even shows Shahid Kapoor as one of the background dancers.
