The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is almost upon us and among the mega talented lot of designers who are taking part is the edgy Kanika Saluja.
Retailing under the label, Anaikka, Kanika’s collection for spring/summer 2014 is titled Shivoham.
Says the young lady, very poetically, “The wearer’s journey to shivoham is her quest to find her inner being. She is sensitive of herself, her inner prism and the different dimensioned cosmos. Here awareness becomes a consistent challenge to her existence. Her consciousness takes her to awakening, causing turmoil, confusion and destruction to her soul but it is awakened and urges to reach nirvana.
With her outer illusions fading and inner universe rising, her thoughts shape her silhouettes, her drapes link to her dreams, and her inner light paints her attire, her canvas of expression. And she’s enlightened to infinity.”
