Sorry it’s taken me sooooo long to get this post up but you know what kind of September I’ve had! Anyway 🙂 after a fabulous wedding week in San Francisco we decided to drive down to Los Angeles and do some fun things! Obviously, when you’re THIS close to Disneyland you simply HAVE to make the trip.
PS. The fact that we ended up spending 13 hours there (and loving every minute of it) proves that Nowshie and I are clearly at no risk of growing up, anytime soon 🙂 xoxo
As you can see, I took a bunch of video for you to enjoy our rides but I have to say our favourite place in the world has got to be TOON TOWN!
Fill ‘er up we’re going for a spin!!!
First stop Mickey Mouse‘s House!
And of course Nowshie immediately got up to no good!
And then stopped to ponder… why DID the chicken cross the road?
If you recall a brilliant movie called Who Framed Roger Rabbit…
…then surely you remember the hottest toon alive – Jessica Rabbit!
Which reminded me of THIS blog where I kinda spotted the real life Jessica Rabbit in Worli *LOL* and Anushka Manchanda channeled her for a gig!
Gotta love Toon Town!
Oh and if you love The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy as much as I do then you’ll LOVE this picture!
Look! There’s that castle every little girl dreams of *sigh*
And the rides every little boy loves!
Aside from all the adorable toons all over Disneyland they had loads of mechanical animals on the adventure cruise.
And a Ganesha inspired elephant god too!
And EVERYBODY was showing off their mouse ears all day…
While Nowshad agreed to try out as a chipmunk! *lol*
And I spotted this hilarious backpack too, so cute!
Even Minnie Mouse wore her classic red polka dot dress (hot off the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week’s Disney Couture show!)
And we witnessed a very cool animatronic show featuring the great moments of US President Abraham Lincoln.
One of my favorite things about Disneyland – Disney World in Florida – growing up was the parade they do on Main Street twice a day, and yup it’s still as much fun when you’re all growns up!
And aren’t these balloons just the happiest sight in the world?!
Unfortunately my batteries ran out by the time the Fantasmic show and magnificent firework extravaganza began but that’s ok, I was so blown away I would have forgotten to take pictures anyway! Check out a video I found below, its amazing how they used jets of water to create a liquid screen for projection! #Genius
So thank you Mr. Disney for the magic and the memories, you’ve kept us young and happy for all these years, I heart you! And chances are, we’ll be back 🙂
