The much-awaited Shuddhi, which will feature the return of Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan as the lead pair after over a decade, is set to go on floors in December. Since Badtameez Dil – the film Kareena is doing with Emraan Hashmi – has been postponed until next year, the actress has turned her attention towards Shuddhi. Even though director Karan Malhotra has rubbished the reports of her needing to get a six-pack for the film, Kareena still has been undergoing vigorous training to get in shape. Now we hear that a lot of attention is also being placed on her outfits!
According to today’s Mirror, the film will be set in two time periods – 1910s and 1960s. As is almost customary for a Dharma Productions film, Manish Malhotra is in charge of the styling, and will be creating looks for both eras. He has apparently already begun working on the 60s era, as they will be shooting those portions first. Then, once that part of the movie is wrapped up, they will begin shooting the 1910s portion. Kareena is expected to do a look test once she is back in Mumbai.
Are you excited to see Kareena go vintage?
