The Film Federation of India’s decision to send The Good Road over The Lunchbox as India’s entry for the Oscars has caused quite a furore. When the entry was announced, co-producers of The Lunchbox, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to express their disappointment. Following a Twitter war that Anurag Kashyap got into, he has deleted his accounts from social media platforms and claimed to go into hibernation. On the other hand, those associated with The Good Road have defended their film and are now hoping to get a wider audience. The names of the jury members of the FFI have also been revealed and the chairman has made a statement that he was in favour of The Lunchbox but it was a unanimous jury decision. We’re thinking it must have been a tough decision and looking at the humorous side.
