Always nattily dressed in suits, the suave Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan, did not disappoint when he arrived for the Pawsitive People’s Awards held in Mumbai over the weekend.
Mr. Bachchan – a well-known dog lover – was the guest of honour. Just a few months ago, in June, his pet Piranha Dane, Shanoukh died. He wrote on his blog, “His heart is giving way, water is collecting in his stomach and he is in serious condition. We revived him today at the vet by sedating him and pumping out the excess water collected, but things are not looking good! Sad!”
Putting the tragedy firmly behind him, Bachchan was seen in good spirits and had a wonderful time giving out awards to various dogs and in particular, enjoyed playing with them as well.
But what really caught our attention were Amitabh Bachchan’s fancy shoes. Take a look:
How funky are they? We don’t know which brand / designer has created this fun and frivolous pair of formal shoes but we love the jhumkas cascading down the front.
Quite a fashion coup for the septuagenarian star, don’t you think?
