He’s just a year shy of being a teenager and while one would imagine that young Ibrahim Khan would comfortably enter Bollywood with a starry future, reports have it that at least for now, he is happy to be a star on the cricket pitch.
The twelve-year-old son of Saif Ali Khan and his first wife, actress Amrita Singh, will represent his school in the Giles Shield inter-school cricket tournament towards the end of the year.
Ibrahim studies in the tony Dhirubhai Ambani International School and will play in the under fourteen category.
The tournament will be held by the Mumbai Schools Sports Association in November.
Looks like the young lad plans to take after his great grand father and grand father – Iftikhar Ali Khan and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (both cricketers) – instead of after his father (Saif), mother (Amrita), aunt (Soha Ali Khan) and grandmother (Sharmila Tagore).
