Over the years Barbie has been an inspiration to many young girls (including myself) and we have seen her in endless outfits and looks. This fall the doll will be making a true style statement. Barbie is the new “It” girl for Hervé Léger by Max Azria. The limited edition doll, priced at $150, in collaboration with Mattel will be available by mid-October in two different looks by the brand.
For the first look she is wearing the iconic bandage dress in red with a black corset belt from the fall 2012 collection, black gladiator boots and gold clutch. For the second look she is wearing a black and white jacquard dress with black open-toe booties and a studded clutch. Best part is that Barbie’s looks are also be available in life-size versions.
Other designers that have collaborated with Mattel for this iconic dolls makeover include Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Givenchy, Burberry, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, Armani, Kate Spade, Versace, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg and many more.
