For the longest time braids were strictly restricted to school girls. However, that’s been slowly changing. Our B-town celebrities have caught the bug, and can often be seen sporting braids on red carpets and press junkets, from Freida Pinto’s deliciously messy look to Sonam Kapoor’s textured fish tail.
How to style it: Remember, your braid shouldn’t be tied too closely. Create texture by backcombing a few strands or adding mousse. After creating your braid, pull out a few strands to keep it intentionally carefree. Secure with a rubberband in the same colour as your hair.
