Two Sachins on one stage – one a legendary cricketer and the other, a veteran Marathi cinema actor – made for a fabulous photo-op as Sachin Pilgaonkar celebrated fifty years of his career by launching a book.
Sachin Tendulkar did the honours of launching the tome – called Sampoorna Sachin – along with singer Sonu Nigam. Even Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan was present as a chief guest at the glittering affair.
However, while Bachchan chose to dress demurely in white, flamboyant musician Bappi Lahiri blinged everybody out with his flashy jewelry and jacket. Clearly, he’s one person who does not believe in the ‘Less is more‘ fashion rule.
