Five well known and talented designers – Varun Bahl, Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi, Nandita Mahtani, and Arjun Khanna – presented eclectic and colourful collections for Audi’s 2014 Autumn collection.
The showing was held last night at Tote in Mumbai, and the dapper Abhishek Bachchan was the guest of honour.
Arjun Khanna commented, “The collection redefines delicate hand sewn craftsmanship that holds the entire ensemble of very uniquely sporty jackets, trousers and waistcoats. It’s an impeccable balance between light weight wool, linen, cotton, leather and silk all held together with fine tailoring. Unconventional and avant-garde with a new look and feel of the sleeve collar and the way the jacket or bundhgala sits to fit the human form! It’s tailoring redefined!”
Of course, a number of socialites and film stars also attended the event to support their designer friends. Huma Qureshi, Dino Morea, Nikitin Dheer, Pria Kataria Puri, and Sheetal Mafatlal were among them. Here’s what they wore:
