The Bacardi NH7 Weekender festival has built up a steady following over the past few years as India’s “happiest music festival”. This past Sunday, Bacardi & Only Much Louder held a secret party to announce the lineup for the 4th edition of the festival in Pune, which will be held across 6 stages on October 18th-20th.
The party had breaks/nu-disco DJ Amul Lokanathan, and drum-n-bass wonderkid OX7GEN on music duties, and they did not disappoint! One of the highlight tracks of the night was the Andy C remix of Major Lazer’s Get Free which really got the crowd going! Earlier in the evening, well-known British electronic act Chase & Status were announced as headliners for the Pune edition of the festival, which led to a lot of cheers and excited chatter among the attendees. Other headliners include Dutch metal band Textures, Spanish/French world music singer Manu Chao, and British dance music act Simian Mobile Disco.
While you can find the full lineup on the official website here, our personal picks for must-watch acts at the festival are Karsh Kale Collective + NH7 All-stars, BLOT vs Kohra, Vir Das’ Alien Chutney, and of course the Midival Punditz live!
Tickets to the festival go on sale today, 20th August and are limited to 9,000 tickets – 6,000 fewer than last year – for an intimate & improved festival experience. So if you want to go, don’t wait!
