Delhi’s jet set hopped onto the Chennai Express recently as HT Brunch and Audi hosted an evening with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The duo have been doing the rounds at all the major media houses over the past few days to promote their film.
Rina Dhaka, David Abraham, Rakesh Thakore, Kalyani Saha and Harmeet Bajaj were among those who waited patiently for Shah Rukh and Deepika to come. Arriving almost three hours late, it was still worth the wait.
Brunch columnist and popular TV anchor Vir Sanghvi, asked them some questions most interviewers would not dare. One of the first questions was about Salman Khan, and Vir did not hesitate to be blunt. Shah Rukh as expected, was the showman but also kept it politically correct.
SRK said of Salman, “Whatever happens with the Khans stays with the Khans.“ and “I am too pompous to believe there can be another SRK.“ As always Shah Rukh stole the show, leaving the beautiful Deepika to play support.
