OMG I had such a fun afternoon shopping with stylist extraordinaire Marv D’Souza at Palladium today! I’m trying to plan my looks for the Pangaea Club launch starting this week and he’s helping style me 🙂 here’s my shopping haul from Zara, Aldo and Vero Moda – tell me whatchya think! xoxo
First up, I needed an office bag that’s stylish enough for Fashion Week but still means business. Voila the Zara Office City Bag is exactly what I needed. In fact it’s practically been dubbed the “bloggers handbag” because my people love it so much 🙂 (*lol* yes my people, all you fellow bloggers & bloggerinas out there!) FYI it comes in two colors, but black never goes out of fashion and doesn’t get as dirty. I also love that it fits my lap top and a zillion other things so I can use it just as easily on a flight as my carry on or when I’m parked at the Grand Hyatt for seven days during fashion week! Don’t you love it?!
Now here’s a dress Marv suggested because it has it’s own texture and you can dress it up in a ton of different ways. This is going to be my emergency dress when I need an outfit in a hurry and haven’t had time to style! FYI it’s known as the ruffle jacquard dress at Zara!
When Marv pointed these out it was love at first sight. The Patent Blucher Shoe! Super comfy and definitely a statement shoe total no brainer for my shoe wardrobe. In fact I might just throw them on with that ruffle jacquard dress I bought in case of emergency 🙂
I remember telling you the clear clutch or sling bag was totally on trend. So I just HAD to have one. Isn’t it darling? Just remember when you carry a transparent bag be sure to edit its contents!
We were looking for accessories for my Pia Pauro and Pankaj & Nidhi outfits (can’t wait to show you what Marv picked!) and at Vero Moda he found these awesome gold danglers called “Agna earrings”. The perfect accent to any outfit with gold trimmings and I’m loving the shape – very Aztec super-girl no?
Last stop Aldo because their shoes ALWAYS fit me great and aren’t as torturous as most other high heels (for me at least!) I needed some nude shoes that go day or night and gold strappy sandals for the outfit Marv had in mind.
Luckily I found them both (albeit in the same style!) but I have a policy that if I find something I love and it fits like a dream I always buy two (in different colors if possible.) So I’ve ended up with nude-ella and her blingy twin sparkles 🙂
And finally I threw in these Aldo Mi-Socquettes in black and tan to line my new silver brogues 🙂
Thank you Marvicious. Best shopping buddy ever!!!
