National Award winner Kangana Ranaut, who plays the role of a kothewalli in Rajjo will be seen sporting tobacco stains on her teeth in several portions of the film. However, given that the actress is against tobacco, she chose to substitute it by chewing on paan and food color, instead.
Says a source from the set, “Though Kangana had her initial reservations, she decided to go all out and look the part of a kothewalli and even sported tobacco stains on her teeth. She suggested chewing on paan and food color instead of tobacco since she is extremely health conscious.”
Adds Kangana , “As an actor, I will do whatever the script requires me to, if it helps in making the character seem more believable. Tobacco stains on my teeth help to get the look perfectly!”
