Look who’s in India! NBA champion Chris Bosh is currently in Mumbai to conduct a string of events to help build NBA’s fanbase in the country. Of course, Bollywood welcomed him with open arms at an event yesterday, that saw the likes of Dino Morea, Sanjay Gupta, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sohail Khan, Mika, Atul Kasbekar, Ash Chandler, and several more.
Yesterday, NBA and Sony announced that NBA Jam would launch in the country in September, which stops in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. NBA Jam is a free travelling interactive basketball festival that combines 3-on-3 basketball, performances from top musical artists, authentic NBA entertainment, and experiences for fans of all ages.
Chris Bosh says:
“NBA Jam is a great event that brings the excitement and energy of the NBA to fans in India. It is exciting to see so much passion for basketball here and I look forward to working with youth during my visit.”
As part of his itinerary, Chris Bosh will also conduct a clinic for top basketball players in the country, as well as for youth at all levels at a local school. Plus, he will participate in an NBA Cares event with the Magic Bus NGO in an attempt to use sport to impact underserved youth across India.
Psst! The Bollywood gang headed to an after-party at Sanjay Kapoor‘s home.
