Birthday wishes are in order for Katrina Kaif, who turns 29 today. The stunning actress is currently shooting for Dhoom 3. On the occasion of her birthday, I’ve taken the liberty to list her most iconic looks from her movies.
De Glam in Raajneeti:
Kaif ditched her glamourous avatar and adopted a more serious one, playing the role of a politician. Hand-woven saris and barely any make-up was her look for the film.
Glam in Race
Playing a double crossing agent, Katrina goes glam outfitted in some pretty nifty designer duds. I personally love this avatar – she looks every inch the part.
Boho Chic in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Going for a fresh boho vibe, Kaif was styled in flowy maxi skirts and bandanas for her role as Laila in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Girl Next Door in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani
As the saccharine sweet Jenny Pinto, Katrina played the girl-next-door role down to a t. She was outfitted in very preppy outfits, such as plaid pleated skirts and Alice bands.
Maharashtrian Mulgi in Chikni Chameli
It was a tough call, but I think Chikni Chameli trumps Shiela. Katrina Kaif proved she could dance (and showed off those taut abs) in a modern take of the traditional 9-yard Maharashtrian sari. I think she was utterly sizzling.
Which look do you love?
