Urdu lovers listen up! Urduwallahs by Arwa Mamji and Priya Nijhara are coming together with Rahul Akerkar and Chef Mukhtar Qureshi at Neel to Present Manto and His Mumbai, a tribute to Saadat Hasan Manto and his tryst with Mumbai on Friday, June 7 at Neel at Tote on Turf from 6pm-9pm for 2000rs all inclusive.
The evening will start with a seamless blend of Urdu and English readings by the Urduwallahs based on Manto and his alluring yet controversial works using the City of Mumbai as the backdrop. After an insight into Manto’s Mumbai, the evening will progress into a Manto-themed Tasting menu from the Neel kitchen.
