No kidding, this song from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani has been playing NON STOP on loop in my head for like two weeks now. I think a major part of the charm are the voices of Vishal Dadlani & Shalmali Kholgade and the super fun true-blue Bollywood lyrics. Just ace, and oh-so-catchy!
PS. I have loved Shalmali’s voice since I discovered her on The Bartender album and she took Bollywood by storm. In this song I LOVE how she nails those high notes.
Plus it STILL blows my mind that Vishal Dadlani is the lead singer of the heavy metal band Pentagram. So anybody who says you can’t be unapologetically “Bollywood” and a TOTAL rockstar at the same time can kiss his a** 🙂 xoxo
