At first look you might think that model & TV host Karishma Kotak, is wearing a futuristic bustier from a design house like Paco Rabanne or Thierry Mugler for her July 2013 cover of Stuff magazine. But in reality, it’s an Obi belt by our very own Nikhil Thampi, which he debuted on the Lakme Fashion Week ramp this March.
Said stylist Chandni Sareen who styled the cover, “I have been wanting to use Nikhil’s Obi belts for a while, but not as belts. They are fashioned from stainless steel and four inches thick – so there’s a lot you can do with them. Since this was a shoot for a gadget magazine, I wanted it to look different and sexy so I picked this belt for Karishma to wear as a bustier, for this cover.”
And if you must know, the snakeskin print pants are by Bebe.
