Actress Priyanka Chopra is devastated with the loss of her father, Dr. Ashok Chopra. Daddy’s lil girl – as her tattoo reads – was extremely close to her papa and stood by him till the last moments. She has always credited her dad as an inspiration for her to get into singing.
At his funeral on Monday evening, there was talk that PC plans to play some of her fathers original compositions and songs as a way of offering him a tribute on his choutha. Twinkle Khanna too had played her dad Rajesh Khanna’s biggest hits in memoriam to him during his choutha.
Dr Chopra was immensely passionate about singing and would sing in Hindi as well as Punjabi. We think this would be a really sweet way of remembering him!
