It’s been seven years since Raja Hindustani director, Dharmesh Darshan has made a film – the last being Aap Ki Khatir in 2006. Now, the trade has it that Darshan will make a comeback with Dhadkan-2. A sequel to his film Dhadkan, which released in 2000 and starred Shilpa Shetty along with Akshay Kumar and Suneil Shetty, Dhadkan-2 is already being worked upon in the initial stages.
Says Darshan, “After a short gap of few years doing my follow up film to Dhadkan which is titled Dhadkan 2 – The Heart Beats Once Again. Humbled and honoured is how I feel and I promise I will give Dhadkan-2 as much or more than I gave Dhadkan itself. I am a sincere director and believe in my sincerity and god. Yes to follow-up what is considered a classic, is challenging.”
