In a blog-post a few days ago, we told you how actor Ruslaan Mumtaz was accused of uploading a naughty MMS of his then girlfriend, Zahra Khan, to YouTube. We also told you that now, ironically, he’s acting in a film – I Don’t Luv U – in which an MMS leak is the point of conflict in the film.
In an interview with writer Vaalee Supreet, Ruslaan attempts to clear the air and salvage his reputation on the MMS controversy:
Says Ruslaan, “I felt very bad about that whole MMS controversy because I was dragged into it. I never had any direct connections with that MMS. Neither was I in that MMS, nor had I leaked it. So connecting my name to it was very mean. But today when I think about it, I feel very sympathetic about that person (Zahra Khan) because it’s their personal thing which became public.”
So does that clear up things for those of you who doubted his character? Tell us in the comments below.
