Shahid Kapoor and the team of Rambo Rajkumar have been having a string of night shoots at Kamalistan Studios in Mumbai for the past few days. They have now wrapped up that schedule, but we hear that unfortunately Shahid had an accident on sets while shooting an action sequence on Saturday night.
For a scene, Shahid was supposed to enter a house on fire. The actor completed the shot and was just exiting the burning house, when some of the chemical used to create the fire dripped onto his back and arms. The solution burned holes into his tshirt, and though he managed to react quickly by throwing it of, he still sustained minor burns where the chemical touched his skin. The crew administered first aid to Shahid on sets, but he was advised to go see a dermatologist in order to ensure that the burn marks heal quickly.
He seems to be okay, though, as he was back on sets on Sunday shooting for the 27th day of Rambo Rajkumar. That was the last day of their current schedule, so he’s now back to shooting for Phata Poster Nikla Hero, and will resume shooting for Rambo Rajkumar later in May. Here’s hoping his injuries heal soon!
