Looks like once again the Far-East is a source of inspiration for designers this spring/summer 2013. We spotted it on the runways of Emporio Armani, Prada, Pucci, Haider Ackermann, Etro, Damir Doma to name a few.
So what does this trend really encompass? Well for starters, expect to find kimono jackets, slouchy pants, obi belts, mandarin collars and prints featuring the tiger/lotus/dragon motifs.
To really ace this trend; pick ensembles with jewel tones – think emeralds and deep purples. Brocade embroidery elevates this look. An obi belt is a glam option to nip in your waist. Take a cue from Haider Ackermann and wear it over a sharp trouser suit.
