Listen up, aspiring DJs: DJ Suketu is running a one-month course in DJing, where he will teach pitch bending, looping, cueing, mixing, use of mic and much more. There are special discounts available as well, so if this sounds like something you’d be interested in, drop them a line at djsuketu.music@gmail.com or give them a call at 22-2447-2322 to know more information! And in the meantime, here’s a special tip courtesy his Facebook page.
Mixing Tip No. 1: Keep it down. While its fun to turn up your monitors and listen to your mix loud, you’ll get a better result if you mix at a conservative level. Loud volumes aren’t good for your ears and are deceptive when judging the balance of your instruments.
You can also check out the remix of Tum Hi Ho Bandhu that one of his students made to get a better idea of what you’d be working towards in this course!
