Surenderi by Yogesh Chaudhary
After his highly successful pac-man collection that was seen on the likes of Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez, Yogesh Chaudhary returned to LFW to showcase his Dip Dip Dip My Sunken Ship collection.
I love it when a there’s a theme that’s very prevalent in a show. Everything from angel fish to gold fish landed up as inspiration for the designer whose colour palette was predominantly orange and blue. There was an interesting foil detail on the ensembles that added a glam vibe to the outfit. Priyanaka Chopra even picked one of his ensembles to wear before it hit the ramp, I’m sure we are gonna see A LOT more of these outfits on the celebs.
Outhouse:
Jewellery designers Kaabia and Sasha Grewal don’t do simple, delicate jewellery. Their pieces are bold and create a statement when worn. Spikes, stars, bullet shapes paired with neon accents and semi-precious stones made some pretty incredible baubles. I do have to state that my only grouse was the hair and make-up. The dated crimped hair and the neon pink lips didn’t do any justice to the models.
