Komal Sood’s collection was definitely for the party girl – not one piece of clothing was devoid of either shine or sequins. If I was a Bollywood stylist, I would pick up these pieces in a snap! They had the right amount of red carpet glamour, and are suitable for all the press junket appearances too. The line comprised of floaty dresses with sequin details at the waist, and shimmering silver thigh-high gowns.
Sanjay Hingu:
Menswear designer Sanjay Hingu showcased clothes for the modern man – one who isn’t afraid to make a statement! Crisp blazers in hues of red, sporty jackets with multiple zips, and geometric print linen trousers. I love the bold use of colour in Hingu’s collection – pops of neon pink and orange peeked out from the jackets. The suave look never goes out of style.
Pia Pauro:
I always love watching Pia’s shows – they’re full of energy and excitement! From the pulsating music, to the models’ swagger – everything is fun. Like Nikhil Thampi, the fish print played a big role. The aquatic motif was used as a print on her ensembles, as well as detailed on the gladiator shoes that the models wore. Punchy yellows, blues and oranges were clashed superbly with metallic accents. I would totally rock these outfits at the beach! Mykonos anyone??
