The L’Oreal Femina Women Awards 2013 saw a galaxy of stars turn out to honour “Women of Worth” in several categories from sports, education, art, entertainment and business.
Among those who were recipients of the award were Mary Kom, Shabani Azmi, Nandita Das, Vidya Balan and Lisa Haydon. Of course, L’Oreal brand-ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor were also conspicuous by their presence and even gave out awards to some of the winners.
Let’s take a look at what they wore!
Sonam Kapoor wore a black lace top and a black and red, asymmetrical floral skirt by Atsu Sekhose. She accessorized it with a black blingy hair band (almost like a tiara) and a black clutch.
Vidya Balan went for a saree yet again! Playing safe too often, don’t you think?
Farhan Akhtar looked very handsome and dapper in a pin-stripe suit. And those dimples are a fab accessory!
Fashionista Neha Dhupia chose to wear a top with an embellished neckline by Kanika Saluja’s label Anaikka and a shaded full-length skirt by Ranna Gill. A Bottega Veneta knot clutch completed her look.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a silvery gown by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. But why did she spoil her look by wearing that black jacket? It does nothing for her!
