She may have retired years ago but the paparazzi are crazy for Karisma Kapoor. I saw that first hand, when I attended a special preview of Archana Kocchar’s line for Lakme Fashion Week.
The star sported a first look of Kocchar’s Mumbai Checkmate collection. Walking into the room, the flashbulbs really started popping with cameramen and photogs pushing and shoving to get a a byte with her. But the experienced star kept her cool, and told them to focus on the accessories made by the children of the NGO Project Crayons. The accessories will be used on the runway by Archana.
I also have to applaud Ms Kochhar for using her position to bring about a change in the lives of these talented kids.
I managed to score a 10 second byte with the star just as she was heading to another event battling a few frenzy pap photographers to get you this. Thanks DCast! She also revealed that she isn’t a big believer in brands and wears outfits that have been in her closet for over 2 years. Style for her is classic and eternal.
