Designer Manish Arora has collaborated with Amrapali yet again for his Fall 2013 pret line and has designed a wide range of trinkets and baubles which have his signature quirky touch.
The jewelry collection represents Manish’s contemporary take on modern India and how he wants to represent his vision on global platform. In true Manish Arora style, the jewelry is specifically designed to wear in an international cosmopolitan context.
Geometric motifs and borders have been created with lustrous holographic stones, matt gold, lacquer coating and beads. The colour palette comprises of shades of blue from the sky with a wide use of black, navy blue and green as the base along with the stimulants of metallic gold.
Traditional ring designs have been enhanced and gracefully illuminated by addition of bold coloured stones, cuffs and necklaces that have detailed application of enamel in vibrant coloured geometric designs and an element of play with turban jewels, nose rings and Hasli’s (traditional necklace of Rajasthan) add to the opulence.
