Salman Khan, Rekha and Kamal Hassan were spotted at a special screening of Kamal’s film Vishwaroop. Salman has been super supportive of Kamal Hassan in rejecting the controversial ban of his film. In case you missed it Kamal Hassan’s much-awaited Vishwaroopam released worldwide, excluding Tamil Nadu, on 25 January 2013, with premiere shows on 24 January 2013 all over the United States and Canada with English subtitles. The film was banned in Tamil Nadu for 15 days on January 23 (two days before the release) after several Muslim organisations opposed the film citing that it shows their community in bad taste.

Later, the Madras High Court stayed the release till January 28. The ban resulted in similar decisions being made in Sri Lanka and Malaysia while release was delayed in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka. The Hindi version Vishwaroop released on 1 February 2013 with 1000 screens, thereby marking the biggest ever release for a Kamal Haasan film in Hindi.
Vishwaroopam (English: Nature of the World) is a 2013 Indian spy thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan who also enacts the lead role.The film has been made simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi. The film has Pooja Kumar,Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat in supporting roles.The Hindi version is called as Vishwaroop.
