On February 14th join some of Mumbai’s most loved including Manasi Scott, Suchitra Pillai, Ash Chandler, Poorna Jagannathan and DJ T2K in a concert to support V-Day’a 15h Anniversary and those who WALK OUT, DANCE, RISE UP, and DEMAND an end to violence against. ONE BILLION RISING is a global campaign to end violence, and advocate justice and gender equality. It’s a global call on February 14, 2013, for one billion women and men around the world to walk away from their homes, businesses, and jobs, and join together to dance in a show of collective strength.
Many distinguished citizens have joined the campaign all over India to say “ENOUGH! The Violence Ends NOW”. The Mumbai celebrities include Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Rahul Bose, Mita Vashisht, and many people from women’s rights organisations, salsa dancers, rappers, classical dancers, artistes who are rising up.
