Bipasha Basu wore a gorgeous lime silk cady strapless gown with flounce details from Gucci’s S/S’13 collection to the 11th Annual Stardust Awards, which was also seen on Kate Beckinsale and the Australian actress Gracie Otto. But who rocked the gown the best?
It ain’t Bipasha, though! The teaming of that jadau necklace (from Amrapali) with the minimalist gown simply killed it for me.
So much that the lush contrast of purple against the yellow – by way of the suede ‘Flex’ clutch from Tod’s A/W’10 collection – wasn’t enough to salvage the look.
Plus, the way she was hoisting the gown up as she made her way past the red carpet didn’t help matters, either.
Gracie Otto wore the same dress to the
Australian Oscars
2nd Annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards a few days letter, and I gotta say, she styled it way better! She kept things minimal, taking with her only a Plexiglass clutch from the same collection.
And then there was Kate Beckinsale, who wore a blush pink version of the gown to the InStyle-Warners Bros. Golden Globes after party – and trumped all others! Yep, she gets my vote, and I’d go so far as to say that it’s impossible to top Kate’s styling.
