Sunday brunches are always fun affairs when you can dress down in comfortable clothes and enjoy sipping on cocktails into the early evening. Rashmi & Sudheer Bahl‘s brunch at Cheval this weekend, was a much anticipated event on Mumbai’s social calendar, and a number of their famous friends showed up to party with them, and enjoy some fab cuisine.
Among the guests were Nisha Jamvwal, Ester & Raju Daswani, Raell Padamsee, Lata Patel, Rashmi Uday Singh, Renu & Naaz Zaveri, Anish Trivedi, Niranjan & Hiranandani, Aarti & Kailash Surendranath, Arjun & Sheffali Khanna, Laila & Farhan Furniturewalla, Farhan Taraporewala, and Meena Raheja.

The menu ranged from raw tuna with ginger dressing, to grilled fennel with apple, parmesan and hazelnut vinaigrette; Roast beetroot with Jerusalem artichoke puree, spiced walnuts and goats cheese; Beer battered fish and chips with pea puree, grilled sirloin steak with chimmichuri and dessert ranging from chocolate crumble ganache with hazelnut ice cream and Passion-fruit crème brûlée.
