MTV is kicking off their first ever Bloc Party in India on the 18th and 19th of January. The Juhu bloc will be transformed into quite the party destination with a beer arena, sundown parties by the beach and massive after-parties spread out over the streets. Not to mention, there will be 20 awesome DJs there plus indie music bands and live acts. The best part is that one ticket gives you entry into the bloc and then you can hop from one experience to another!
The party stars with a beer arena on the lawns of the Juhu Hotel, with live music by Safar, Sky Rabbits and Goddess Gagged. The dance music starts kicking in once the sun goes down, with some great DJs. Headlining is Alesso and Deniz Koyu, along with Opiuo, Simon Dunmore, Jean Elan, Shovell, Cosmo Klein, Mathew Charles, Pearl, Arjun Vagale, Breed, Lost Stories, Nawed Khan, BF, Anish Sood, AFM, Reji and Willy. The event will be hosted by Nikhil Chinappa and programmed by Submerge.
Post 10pm, the party spreads out over the bars and clubs in the Night Bloc, including Beach Comber and Enigma, where international and Indian EDM DJs will play different genres of electronic music. With the MTV wristband, you’ll have access to all clubs and can club hop with MTV’s hop-on-hop-off Bloc Party cabs that will take you across venues.
