During Bunty Walia‘s wedding bash, director David Dhawan fainted and was rushed to Lilavati hospital, where tests revealed that his blood sugar level had dropped and he had gone into a diabetic coma.
Our photographer tells us that he was just discussing with someone how he thought David Dhawan was walking like a really aged person at a recent Christmas party. He said that even though David tries to portray himself as active, the fact that he’s overweight (and has diabetes) is probably rearing its head now.
The good news is, he is said to be out of danger now and son Varun Dhawan even tweeted that he was back at home and feeling much better.
Apparently, doctors are closely monitoring his health and diet now.
