Here’s some fresh Bollywood news: After a lot of discussion on the subject, it’s exciting to know that Mr India 2 is actually happening, and producer Boney Kapoor has retained Shekhar Kapur, the director of the first version. But there’s also been a buzz lately that Salman Khan will be in the film, and that too with a role unlike any he has ever done.
Boney Kapoor had earlier claimed that Sallu would be in the film, since he doesn’t think he can make one without him. And if word on the streets is correct, then Salman may be appearing in a negative role – which would be his first. Also, the original lead couple, Anil Kapoor and Sridevi, will also be a part of the film, though they won’t be appearing in leading roles this time around.
Mr India is such an iconic film that I can’t wait for this, even though it’s still some time away (it should release in 2014). Boney is currently busy converting the first part into 3D, which will release a few weeks before the sequel. Are you excited? Keep reading this space for the latest Bollywood updates!
