Among the many designers showing off their colourful collections at India Resort Fashion Week 2012 in Goa next week are Delhi-based Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor.
“The current collection comprises of general tone of an outfit that are sophisticated. The collection comprises of ruffled tops, high waisted skirts. A lot of free flowing silhouettes in flat chiffons have been used along with the digital prints for long shift dresses. A simple dress can make a resort casual outfit look glamorous. The Mugahl opera would be my theme throughout this season,” says Anjalee & Arjun.
Colours used in this collection include nude tones, metallic hues, muted creams, and gold with a lot of fun & vibrant colors. The silhouettes are predominantly western wear, hot and chic, with flying angels in digital prints. The designers have used soft fabrics like silk jersey, chiffon, and metal embellishments.
The line is called The Mughal Opera Continues.
