Singer Pankaj Chaturvedi launched his newest album Aawaaz Dil Se with a live music concert in Mumbai. The album has six songs with music by the famed Pyarelal (of Laxmikant-Pyarelal) while the lyrics have been penned by Sameer. In fact, fans of Pyarelal will now be able to listen to his music after a decade.
The famed composer christened the album Aawaaz Dil Se because he believes that a voice which comes from the heart reaches all other music-loving people, right in their hearts.
One interesting feature about the album is that it was recorded with a live orchestra and the song Main Shayar Toh Nahi has been sung by a chorus of a hundred people.
Spotted at the album launch were Ameesha Patel, Prem Chopra, Kishan Kumar, Vikas Bhalla and Jeetender.
