I’m a self confessed mascara junkie. The minute a new one is launched I go about sniffing, reading reviews, and trying to get my paws on it. But mascara is not *just* a simple wand that intensifies your lashes, it’s a magic tool. There are 3 variants – thickening, curling and lengthening – but which wands will really amp up your peepers? I’m gonna give you a quick 411 on the most commonly available wands in India.
1) Straight Wand
This is probably the most basic mascara wand out there – it’s best used for lengthening and thickening your lashes. If you have short lashes, this will give the illusion of them being longer.
2) Curved Wand
If you have short straight lashes and want to flutter them seductively, a curved wand is your best bet. The bristles are specially formulated to lift and separate each lash, making them longer and thicker.
3) Comb Wand
Those hard to reach outer lashes can be remedied using this wand. It’s also highly recommended if you want to give each lash individual separation.
MissMalini recommends the Lakmé Eyeconic Mascara that works double duty – curling and thickening them at the same time. And at Rs 250 it’s a steal!
