An annual competition exists to find the sexiest sole-mates of the year, can you believe?? The contest, titled “Sexy Shoes,” was created by the shoe business trade paper Footwear News and Saks Fifth Avenue in 2010, where voters choose their picks online from the 25 finalists. Previous editions winners were Christian Louboutin and Valentino – and guess who came on top this year??
None other than the shoe provocateur Christian Louboutin, yet again! His red-studded patent leather creation was voted the sexiest, followed by Stuart Weitzman’s burgundy patent pumps with a metallic stiletto in second place. Jimmy Choo’s black suede sandals with silver studs took third, and B Brian Atwood’s studded suede over-the-knee boots rounded off the positions.
