As you know October is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. American designer Tommy Hilfiger has designed a special limited edition bag to support the cause, and proceeds will go to Breast Health International, an organization that supports women who have breast cancer.
To launch this initiative; Hilfiger roped in French supermodel Charlotte Gainsbourg (daughter os Jane Birkin for whom the Birkin bag is named after) to front the campaign. Getting behind the lens was Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore, who lent her support as well.
Twenty of these bags have made their way to the Tommy Hilfiger stores in Delhi and Mumbai. The price of these bags are Rs, 15,000 out of which Rs 5,000 will go to the Fund for Living.
The 2012 limited-edition handbag is a navy leather tote with white accents and red handles. Its features a central divider pocket, mobile phone pocket, and rose gold tone magnetic closures.
