It was a busy day for the star cast of Raaz 3 yesterday in Dubai. Bipasha Basu was dressed in a chic white tassel dress (Herve Leger Camila Draped Bandage Dress), and Valentino Rockstud Pumps with Animal Print, Her lusciously long, poker straight hair completed the look. Co-star Esha Gupta looked like a runway model in a leopard print dress with a tulle skirt (Alice + Olivia Bergen Beaded Dress), with a bun updo, and orange teardrop earrings. Emraan Hashmi kept it smart and casual in an indigo shirt and formal trousers. Check out pix from their crazy day in Dubai:
Film promotions began with a press conference held at The Grand Hyatt with the cast, producers Mahesh & Mukesh Bhatt, and director Vikram Bhatt. Later, the trio thespians drove to the studio of radio sponsor, City 1016 for a meet & greet with contest winners, and went live on air with RJ Tia Singh (Emraan’s childhood friend & daughter of singer Shailendra Singh), and RJ Rohit (show name: Drive Master GoGo).
Following this, they proceeded to Lamcy Plaza (one of Dubai’s oldest malls), to meet hordes of fans who were informed about this event via radio and SMS. The crowds waited patiently while being entertained by dance performances by little children. A lucky few were chosen by the RJs to have their photos taken with the celebrities (only after proving their worth by dancing & singing, and – for men – push-ups).
Movie merchandise (t-shirts) were thrown into the audience, which caused eager fans to out-jump each other. Later, with much patience and name chanting, the red carpet was finally rolled out, and the three actors made their way to the stage. They were presented with enormous bouquets and loud cheers. The crowd erupted when our ever-so-charming Emraan threw out roses to fans. The star also went so far to ask the Bong beauty to kiss a few roses for the flower tossing ceremony. If this wasn’t enough to keep them busy, the team later proceeded to It’s Mirchi, where quite a few Bollywood parties have been held in the past.
