1) Sugar in Honey on Wet Skin.
Splash some warm water on your face after using a facewash and on clean, wet skin apply honey and sugar with gentle circular movements with your finger tips all over your face and neck for 3 mins. Wash it off with cold water. Watch your skin glow.
2) Neem.
I met the head of a international skin care brand who was talking to me about this great new product they are coming up with neem. Hello! We knew it all the while. It’s been our mantra to fix any form of skin infection or trouble. Neem can be drunk as a shot, applied as a paste on your face or used as a gentle scrub. It’s great for acne prone skin.
3) Fruit mask.
Yes, from the fruit that you have in your bowl for the day, save the last two pieces for your face! As much good it does when you eat it, it does when applied. Any dark colored ones are anti oxidants, citrus ones act as acidic peels and skin lighteners, banana is a hydrant and papaya has an enzyme that acts as a home peel.
4) Sandal wood paste.
From gods own kit. Make a paste by rubbing it on a rough stone with rosewater or milk as a medium. You can refrigerate it for a week or more. Just apply a layer of it every day. It makes your skin flawless. Acne, or pigmentation, uneven tone, dull skin; it takes care of it all like magic!
5) Coconut.
Coconut milk, water, grated pulp or oil – great in any form. It has anti bacterial, anti fungal, hydrating and nourishing properties for hair and skin.
So do yourself a favor and just look in your own kitchen for non preservative, natural fresh skin care and enjoy a natural glow!
