He’s making his B-town debut with Sachin Kundalkar’s Aiyya and has not only signed Aurangzeb with Arjun Kapoor, but in fact bagged a three film deal with YRF! My spy reveals that Aditya Chopra watched Aiyya and was blown away by his performance, so much that he made him okay the contract over the phone!
Apparently Rani had a lot to do with that and even convinced her co-star that this would be the best launch pad for him to make a mark in Bollywood. Those who have watched Aiyya, are raving about the film and saying this is the comeback film Rani deserves. If it works then this might be her year, with Talaash opposite Aamir Khan also all a buzz.
